Rosendale Mine and Century House House Museum Tours

Please join APTNE for a unique opportunity to tour the Rosendale Mines.



This tour is an exciting opportunity to see mines and kilns not open to the public and to learn about the geology of the area and the history of the cement industry that flourished here in the 19th century.  
 

Itinerary:

9am to 12pm: Tour Century House Museum and Widow Jane Mine  

12pm to 1pm:  Box Lunch at Century House

1pm to 4pm: Carpool and tour several mines and kilns in Rosendale, NY

Cost:

No fee for members,  $25 for non-members

 Additional Details:

** Please bring flashlight, hard hat, and jacket (because the mines are 58 degrees).

** Please arrange your own transportation to the Century House Historical Society. We will all park and meet in the Society’s parking lot and carpool to the other mines from there
